I have been to Dr. Lin in the past when she helped me avoid rotator cuff tear surgery. I feel her skill in acupuncture and acupressure helped me regain mobility and strength in my shoulder and most importantly avoid surgery. have seen her for back and leg pain issues. I feel she takes time to listen and targets your needs. I always feel better the next day and days later.For me, I feel like I am taking steps to help myself feel better. I am now seeing Dr. Lin for hip and leg pain. I have been noticing pain that has me thinking, “ Do I need a cortisone shot ? Maybe I need to see a Dr.? I am a nurse and tries to self diagnose. “ There are times when we need to start with orthopedics etc., but I know they will probably prescribe x-ray ( which is important.), antinflammatory medicine and more expensive imaging. That is exhausting to me .I think it is worth a least invasive way to help you body help itself. I have been to another acupuncture physician and did not feel I had any results. I have recommended Dr. Lin to friends and co workers when they tell me about pain issues that are not getting better with traditional treatment. I don’t understand why insurance doesn’t always cover treatment which is a negative about acupuncture treatment. With rising cost of co pay and imaging co pays and deductibles , while it may seem more in the beginning , it is well worth it.
